The following is an activity page that invites children (as individuals or in teams) to draw or write about their understanding of seed dispersal. When children have a grasp of the basic concepts presented visually in pt. 1 of this section, I’ve given them this activity page to complete. A project of this sort can provide focus for a short foray / field trip into a school garden, woodland trail. or suburban backyard. The key point is to enhance youngsters’ appreciation for these amazing adaptations while also keeping the the learning enjoyable.
